I make narrative-rich games and products.
With a decade of experience, I've led multidisciplinary teams to craft narratives, gameplay, and product experiences that connect deeply with their audiences.
I've shipped three games, one learning app, and motion comics on mobile.
I've worked with Disney Publishing Worldwide and Byju's to build the world's largest narrative-driven learning product. I also directed & wrote narrative on Harmony: Heroes of Elephantia, a collaboration with Cincinnati Zoo made for zones of human-elephant conflict, and Makkalin Mudhalvar (The People's Leader), India's first political strategy title.
As the Co-founder and Head of Design at BigFatPhoenix, I shipped Fairside Stories, a product for 7-12 year olds that houses 3 game styles - combat, visual novel, and strategy. These have been reskinned multiple times into 40+ narrative-led games. Many of these narratives were actually co-designed with players - over 500 voices across the world! The games are modelled on a traits framework that drives empathy, integrity, and thoughtful decision making.
I have a degree in Economics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, and a Masters in Media and Cultural Studies from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. This helps me found all of my creative work on research.
I’m 31 years old, originally from India, and live in Indianapolis. I am deeply committed to developing immersive experiences that push the boundaries of traditional games and storytelling. Get in touch with me! I’m always happy to talk about new projects.
When not working, reading, or playing videogames, you’re most likely to find me running, or trying to become friends with your dog.
